Art Afternoon Tea in a London hotel!

In honor of the exhibition of works by Auguste Rodin in the London hotel Rosewood London a series of tea parties is held. The hotel is located on High Holborn road near Covent Garden.

In 2018, it was decided to repeat last year's event, creating a tea party program based on the exhibition of works by Auguste Rodin in the British Museum. Last year the hotel successfully held a similar event dedicated to the exhibition of works by contemporary artists in London.

The tea party takes place in the Mirror Room restaurant and begins with a traditional action with a chocolate handicraft. Each participant chops the pieces from a chocolate bar with spices, flower petals and candied violets. The chopped pieces of chocolate, packed individually in a box and sealed with a sealing wax with the Rosewood London sign, are handed to the "co-author" after tea.

In the menu of the program, traditional British sandwiches, traditional scones with cream and lemon marmalade, and incredible desserts inspired by the works of the great French sculptor Auguste Rodin: The Thinker, The Bronze Age and The Kiss.

Each thematic dessert is made in its special technique: "Thinker" is a chocolate silhouette of all known sculptures mounted on a base of chocolate sable cookies with chocolate biscuit and Earl Gray mousse from the Mariage Frères tea house; "Bronze Age" is a chocolate-nut shell covered with a bronze patina, filled with caramel cream-brulee, "set" on a shortbread cookie and decorated with an edible Rosewood London logo; "Kiss", based on a white chocolate biscuit with jelly from raspberry and pink petals, is embodied in an abstract, but effective figure from the intertwined petals of white chocolate framing a marble mousse ball in the glaze.

The Rodin Art Afternoon Tea menu is available at the Mirror Room until July 29, 2018, Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 18:00 and from 12:00 to 19:00 on weekends.
