Citizens of Ukraine and 79 other countries since August 9 can visit Qatar on an essentially simplified visa regime, in which there is no need to obtain a visa. The main requirement of such a visa-free regime is the availability of a passport that is valid for at least six months after arriving in Qatar and confirmed tickets in the opposite direction or to third countries.

Citizens of the first group from 47 countries, including Ukraine, are given a free 30-day entry permit when crossing the border of Qatar. This permission can be used to make one or more trips, if necessary, which can be issued again for another 30 days. In addition to Ukraine, the list includes countries such as Australia, Canada, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, New Zealand, Moldova, Russia, Singapore, Great Britain, USA, Japan and others.

The citizens of the second group of countries are 33 states, including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Switzerland and others. For citizens of such European countries, at the border crossing, a free entry permit for 180 days is provided, allowing for six months to stay in Qatar for up to 90 days as part of one or more trips.
