Italy has launched wireless free Wi-Fi access in the most popular tourist destinations, including Rome, Milan and Tuscany. Tourists will no longer have to look for an access point to the network to post photos with the Colosseum or the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Thanks to the local Italian government launched an application called Wifi Italia, which will allow residents and tourists to connect to the national Wi-Fi network through a one-time login to the system, which has both Italian and English versions.
Wi-Fi access points are located at railway stations, in hotels and public utilities. Access points will be created in areas with high traffic throughout the country. Users will be able to connect through the application without providing any additional information after initial authentication.
