Italo railway operator will expand the route network in the north-east of Italy from May 1, launching the Turin-Venice train. The train will run on the route with stops at the stations in Brescia, Desenzano (since June), Peschiera del Garda, Verona, Vicenza and Padua.
Italo trains run on the same routes as the train of the national railway operator Trenitalia, and connect the major Italian cities.
Turin is the capital of the Piedmont region in northern Italy. The city is known for its rich architecture and exquisite cuisine. To the north-west of Turin, the Alps rise.
