Reconstruction of the station Belgorod-Dniester04 November 2018 12:31
By the beginning of the next summer of 2019, Ukrzaliznytsia plans to reconstruct the Belgorod-Dniester station. The modernization of the station will increase the capacity and ensure the transportation of a larger number of tourists. Now, due to the restriction of track development at the station Belgorod-Dniester, it is possible to simultaneously accept only two passenger trains, provided that there are no suburban trains in the specified period.
The project includes a phased reconstruction of the station. At the first stage, the island platform and its associated infrastructure will be reconstructed, namely plumbing, lighting, tracks No. 2 and No. 3. The coastal platform and its associated infrastructure will be reconstructed at the second stage. Then, work will be carried out on the arrangement of the loading and unloading platform instead of the “coastal” platform dismantled during the reconstruction.
At the fourth stage, it is planned to perform work on the reconstruction of path No. 7 with its electrification and reconstruction of loading and unloading tracks No. 8, 9, 10 and turnouts adjacent to these paths. At the fifth stage, work will be carried out on the arrangement and electrification of tracks for the lay-up of passenger trains and electric trains.
