On the last Sunday of the month - May 27, everyone will have the opportunity to visit the ancient Tuscan palazzo, castles and villas belonging to private individuals, other days inaccessible to tourist inspection. Visit more than 100 historical residences of the region free of charge on the occasion of the National Day of the Association of Historic Residences (A.D.S.I) in Italy.

Thanks to the permission of the Tuscan governor Umberto Gondi, this year ten more usually inaccessible villas are included in the already quite extensive list of places available for inspection. Among them - a very interesting mansion - Villa "il Castellaccio", where the piano was preserved, which was played by Giacomo Puccini; it was here that the composer wrote the 2 nd and 3 rd act of La Boheme.

The event is part of the Private Heritage Week, scheduled between 24 and 27 May. You can visit the villas, palaces and gardens in Florence, Pistoia, Pisa, Siena, Arezzo, Livorno and the surroundings of Mugello, Lucca, Valdinievo, Pontremoli, Lunigiana, Crete Senese, Val d'Orcia, Casentino and the picturesque coast of the Costa degli Etruscan Josue Carducci).

The National Day of ADSI on May 27, 2018 allows visitors to have free access to historic mansions during two time intervals, in the morning from 10:00 to 13:00 and in the afternoon from 14:30 to 17:30.
